Description

Whole Hazelnut Kernels are natural nuts with brown skins, a sweet, characteristic flavor, and a fresh, nutty aroma. Carefully selected and processed, they originate from Turkey, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. Thanks to their excellent taste and nutritional value, whole hazelnuts are widely used in the confectionery, bakery, and snack industries.

Technical aspects

The product consists of 100% whole hazelnuts, with a maximum moisture content of 6.0% and maximum impurity level of 0.05%. The nuts are free from pests and residues, and comply with EU regulations on mycotoxins, pesticides, and heavy metals. The product is GMO-free, non-irradiated, and microbiologically safe in accordance with Commission Regulation (EC) No. 2073/2005. Allergens: contains hazelnuts; may contain traces of other nuts.

Storage

Whole Hazelnut Kernels have a shelf life of 12 months from the production date. Store in cool, dry conditions, away from strong odors, rodents, and insects. Proper segregation is recommended to avoid cross-contamination.

Package

Foodcom S.A. supplies Whole Hazelnut Kernels in small bags and big bags, using food-grade packaging secured with protective foil, which must be removed immediately after receipt into the warehouse.
