Description

Desiccated Coconut Full Fat Medium Grade is a full-fat coconut product with a medium particle size, made from high-quality, mature coconuts. The coconut is carefully processed – de-shelled, washed, blanched, dried, and cut to achieve a uniform medium-grade texture. It has a bright white color, a naturally sweet coconut aroma, and is free from any foreign odors or off-flavors. Due to its slightly larger particle size, it is widely used in baking, snack production, and confectionery applications. 

Technical aspects

Desiccated Coconut Full Fat Medium Grade contains 65-68% fat, contributing to its rich texture and natural oiliness. Its moisture level is kept at ≤3%, ensuring freshness and a long shelf life. The product has a pH range of 6.0–6.7 and is carefully screened to meet quality standards, with no residual SO₂ and minimal impurities (maximum four dark specks per 100 grams). 

Storage

Store Desiccated Coconut Full Fat Medium Grade in a cool, dry place at temperatures below 30°C. Keep it away from direct heat, sunlight, and strong odors. When stored correctly, it maintains its quality for up to 24 months.
