Conventional Hemp Protein

Conventional Hemp Protein is a fine, gray-green powder with a mesh size of 200 μm, with a characteristic smell and nutty taste. The product is obtained from the seeds of the Cannabis Sativa plant, the Finola variety. During production, the hemp seeds are cleaned, dehydrated and pasteurized and then cold-pressed at a maximum temperature of 40 °C. The extracted oil is mechanically ground and sieved to obtain the finest protein particles without heat or chemical treatment.

Conventional Hemp Protein is rich in fiber, omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids and is vegan. It is also hypoallergenic, so it can be used for lactose-free, gluten-free and soy-free diets. Conventional Hemp Protein is high in arginine – almost 12%, compared to an average of 7% in other proteins made from wheat, rice or soy. Conventional Hemp Protein also has functional properties such as foaming, emulsifying, gelling and oil binding.

The product is not genetically modified and is produced in the EU.

The storage period of Conventional Hemp Protein is 12 to 24 months. The product should be stored in a dry warehouse with no access to light.
