Description

Acerola extract is a high-quality natural powder derived from acerola cherries, known for their exceptional vitamin C content. Carefully processed into a fine, light pink powder, this extract offers both nutritional value and functional properties, making it an excellent ingredient for dietary supplements, beverages, and functional foods.

Technical aspects

Acerola extract appears as a fine powder with a characteristic taste and smell and a light pink color. It passes 100% through 80 mesh, with a bulk density of 0.5–0.6 g/ml. The extract contains a minimum of 90% saponins (UV assay) and no less than 25% natural vitamin C. The product undergoes controlled drying to maintain quality, with a maximum moisture loss of 5%.

Storage

The shelf life of acerola extract is 2 years when stored in sealed containers away from direct sunlight and moisture.
